Types of Telephone Line we provide

Analogue Line – A simple 1 channel line that terminates in the premises using a standard BT telephone socket. The most popular business use for this kind of line is to host a broadband connection, be used for a fax machine or to connect to alarm systems. Sometimes these lines are called PSTN lines or POTS connections.

ISDN2 – ISDN2 was a revolution in business telephony, each ISDN2 line has 2 channels and you can stack lines up to make 4, 6 and 8 channel lines that have multiple numbers. ISDN2 lines can only connect to telephone systems that support the ISDN2 protocol which is called the basic rate interface.

ISDN30 –ISDN30 supports a minimum of 8 channels and will go up to 30. You can also stack these to get more than 30 channels. ISDN30 uses the primary rate interface or PRI for short and can only work with telephone systems that support PRI.

SIP Trunks – Sip Trunks are the modern IP based alternative to ISDN. You can have as many channels as you are willing to pay for and can have numbers from any area code in the UK. Currently there is a huge drive of UK businesses moving to SIP to reducing cost and offer a more feature rich and flexible service.
